Making a Disney type castle to represent Cair Paravel for “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe”. Opening at Honeywood, November 7th.

WE ARE GETTING THERE! WITH THE HELP OF ADRIENNE ROBERTS.

Our members started on the clay figures for the battle scene in “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe”. These figures contain twisted wire armatures, silver foil, masking tape and air dried clay and a lot of patience.

THE HELLO CLUB CELEBRATED ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY ON 6 MAY 2023.

Our members had a wonderful time and two of our earliest members, Ramesh Dogra and Vicky Mosley, cut our special cake, donated by Gosto Fino. We were joined by The Mayor of Sutton, Cllr Trish Fivey, as well as guests from Sutton’s councillors, the voluntary sector and local police.

USING VEGETABLES AND FRUITS TO MAKE UNUSUAL IMAGES OF FLOWERS:

This session was based on a video prepared for The Hello Club by Adrienne Roberts, ceramicist and educationalist. This was part of a project during lockdown to help alleviate isolation.
